Art from Last year 2

Next in the series is a piece I've never really found a cemented name for.  Right now I really like "Toxic Inanimate Fantasy"

I love this piece.  It's a montague from pictures from magazines.  Here our pale, self centered, and perfect model has chosen all material over what matters the most in life love, friends, and family.  She has become so centered on money and fancy things (such as a yacht)  that she is no all alone on her own pile of nice things.  Looking at her I want the viewer to feel that isolation and to feel as if that mountain of consumer items is about to topple.

This piece also represents to me how fame can make artists of any kind painters, actors, writers, etc. give up their passion and effort to just "put something out there" to make money.
